Abstract

The movement "HalqaArbab e Zaoq" was initiated in a private "Bethek" from 29th April 1939.It famous novelist Naseem Hijazi read out his short story "Talafi" which was the seed of this movement.This movement aimed that literature must be free from all limitations and boundaries. The criticism of Meerajee opens a new era in this regard. Urdu novel gained it’s for aggress and development from the platform of HalqaArbab e Zaoq. It bestowed literature with new topics and method of writing with beautiful choice of words. All Novelist belonging to this movement as, QuratulainHaider, Dr. Ahsan Farooqi, AbdullahHussain, IntezarHussain and Mustansar Hussain Tararr included new topics in their novels and opened new channels for other novelists.
