Abstract

Human life consists of processes. It is action and movement that motivates man to seek the best. The journey from caves to the Stone Age is an excellent example of human development. From time immemorial man has been wandering in search of the best. That search for improvement is the guarantor of his progressive consciousness. Progressivism gained regular status in 1936. This proved to be the most dynamic movement in Urdu literature, as it was formally launched under a manifesto. But if you go into the background of this progressivism, it was Karl Marx who regularly introduced it to writers, intellectuals, workers and scholars. Marx's progressive ideas, his progressive thinking and thinking distinguish him from the thinkers of his time. The aim of the article under review is also to highlight the progressive ideology and Marxist thought of Karl Marx and to prepare the workers and labourers for their just and fair compensation.
