Abstract

Naat is a poetic form of expressing the love of the Prophet (PBUH). The aspect of manners and respect is very prominent in it. With the passage of time, changes are being taking place in its main thematic circle. As like formal and real poetry, where personal, universal, and romantic subjects are being described, now Naat is also being used to describe the contemporary problems, and the changes of various themes have also been highlighted in it. Thus poetry has a new perspective in this emerging era. In this article, the reasons of these changes and essentials of Naat are being reviewed.
