Abstract

It is made up of rugged plains, smooth valleys and bare mountain ranges. The Baloch nation has been a follower of the ancestral system and the custodian of civilizations since traditional times. Balochistan is exclusive from other provinces of Pakistan in terms of language, culture and customs. Agha Gul is a writer from Balochistan who is rich in high creative talents. He encouraged Baloch philosophy through novel writing. His novel “Dasht-e-wafa” is the reflection of the Baloch Culture and Civilization of 1970’s. In addition to Balochi language politics and history, the novel also discusses the reasons for the slow pace of cultural evolution in Balochistan. Agha Gul in novel “Bella” shows the different colors of Balochi Culture and civilization to the readers. This novel introduces the cities, towns, geography and folk lagend beliefs of Balochistan through the story of driver Rehman.
