Abstract

The article under consideration is a humble attempt to explore the linguistic experiments performed by Zafar Iqbal in his collection "Gulaaftab". Apparently he has distorted the conventional style by doing amedments and innovations in grammar and language and by introducing a self-coined diction, but it is an undeniable fact that he has unified the words, similes and allusions from different languages and has created a cultural harmony. However, "Gulaaftab" has not only complicated the verse pattern but has also broadened the horizon of poetry by exploring new dimensions.
