Abstract

In the 21st century, many changes can be seen in the Pakistani society and politics which we can see in the literature written here. Pakistani Punjabi women fiction writers have experimented in these two decades in terms of subject matter and technique. Where Punjabi women fiction writers have talked about their lack of rights, they have described their surroundings realistically. They are describing all kinds of topics like society, politics, emancipation, alliteration, religion, education, migration, partition of India in their fiction too. They are much aware of their society and surroundings and they observe the norms of the society in some unique way which is obvious in their stories too. The role of women fiction writers in the development and promotion of Punjabi fiction writers cannot be forgotten in any way. They also have a variety of themes and also progress in technical terms, due to which Punjabi fiction will improve further in the coming era
