Abstract

MustansaarHussainTarar has undoubtedly been considered one of renowned writer of Urdu in modern times. His distinction as writer is evident in diversified literary genres. He has been a successful novelist, travel loguer, dramatist, columnist and short story writer. Themes of his writings are unique in their nature and presentation. These writings unveil the society and it's inconsistent behaviors. The social bonding and their psychological impacts on individuals are his prominent interests. Novel “Qurbaat e Maraag Main Mohbaat" has larger thematic and psychological implications. There is galaxy of characters who represent different behaviors stimulated by social norms. This research article is an effort to bring forth numerous psychological implications of this novel.
