Abstract

Syed Muzaffar Hussain Barni was appointed to important government positions in India. He was very interested in Iqbal
Studies. The editing and arrangement of Iqbal's letters was his great academic and literary achievement. This is an important document of Urdu language and literature. Barni has taken care of the intellectual and artistic qualities in compiling the letters in every way. This is a full service of Iqbaliat. According to Barni, the study of letters is very useful for understanding the life, thought and art of Iqbal. This is a successful attempt of Mr Barni to unify the letters and put them in historical order. This effort will open the way for research and criticism in the field of Iqbal Studies .
