Abstract

A changed affair is called Modernism, which is a logical approach
towards new dimensional era. The beginning point of a new era
may be termed as modernism. Modernism is always a reaction of
the past. Critics of Urdu literature have indulged in the debate of
modernism for the last sixty to seventy years. However, all of
them agree upon "tradition". Modernism is a strong creative
force against the decadent state of a particular period, which
keeps creative experience, dynamic and creative process to remain
alive
