Abstract

It is a sociolinguistic survey to know about the influence of Urdu
on the regional verities of the languages, especially on Haryanvi
Saraiki / Multani, Punjabi and its dialects . This paper
investigates and emphasis on the current language of historical
city of Multan and its regional dialects. It overview the social and
cultural bindings to Haryanvi, Punjabi and Siraiki's different
accents. As Haryanvi, has its own local and Indian accent,
vocabulary, script, pronunciation and grammar effects language
emergence of its social and cultural binding of a geographical
area which give basis for its identity
