Abstract

Shah Murad Khanpuri of Northern zone remained a renowned
poet in Urdu poetry . If his introduction is found any where , it is
limited/confined to only few lines.The poetry of Shah Murad
Khanpuri is a precious historical and cultural testimony . He
foucsed upon cultural , political, literary, rligious and mental
inclinations and interests. He can rightly be called a foremost and
sensible mystic poet in Urdu Ghazal .
