اردو افسانے کے فروغ میں مجلہ "مخزن" کا کردار

Abstract

This study reveals that the tradition of short story was set by the literary magazine "Makhzan" in Urdu Literature. First ever Urdu short story  "Naseer and Khadija" Writte by Allama Rashid ul Khairi was published in its December 1903 issue. So much so, first ever four short stories were also published in Makhzan.
