Abstract

Progressive writers have promoted such values in their writings that were based on socialist ethics. Objectively these values were materialistic. Utility was recognized as a basic ethical value. Thesis writers were not only humanist but also were philanthropist and belived in worship of mankind. As a result values of justice, equality and social harmony were promoted for a grand human revolution.
