Abstract

Concept of time is a key component of Iqbal's philosophic pursuits. This article brings to light a contrast f opinion between Iqbal and other philosophers. Some of Muslim philosohers believe that time is relative, and some otherare of the opinion that different time zones exist simultaneously in  the universe. Alongside, most of the Western philosophers are of the view that time is unreal becaise every new event is three dimentional i.e past, present and future. Iqbal sas that this view is due to the superficial survey of time. Real time is a subjective phenomenon which cannot be viewed through objective parametres, and in real time, succession of events takes place witout change.
