Abstract

Philanthropy means  the  love  of  mankind.Basically ,its  a form  of love for  humanity.Every true  artist  has love  and care for  the  whole  world   because  he  feels  the  pain  of  being unloved and  uncared.This article  deals  with  the  poetry  of Iqbal  and  Faiz in  the  sence  of  love  for  humanity.Both of them  describe that  humanity cannot  survive without love and compassion.They have made their poetry the most powerful force  to  get  the  rights of  people  and  always opposed those  powers   and  trends   who  hurt  and  humilate the mankind.Their poetry  gives  the message  that  we cannot build a better world without the improvement of our morality.Freedom of expression andjustice for  everyone  is a basic theme of their  poetry.
