Abstract

Nazir Akbar  Abadi  is  a famous  Urdu  Poet.  lts  is  well  known fact that he remained a sole representative of Urdu literature. He portrait the human feelings, expriences in his poetry.   His  poetry   alw ays  represent  a  great   human traditions with the narration of cheerfulness of love and deprivation of human  beings.  His  great  poetic  art has made the adversities of life tolerable and endurable. Though these qualities of  his  poetry  he is  still  a source  of  inspiration for the poeople.  ln this  article,  there is an analytical study  of his work.  Nazir's  poetry  is said to be more worthy of admiration. No other  poet  in  Urdu  literature used  as many  variety  of words  as Nazir  did.  He was  called  a public poet  and  his poetry  reflected various aspects  of  the  daily  life  of  his  era. Poet  with  common people  can  be  seen  laughing, singing, enjoying and  playing. He wrote  poems  about  Holi,  Dewalli, Eid, Shab-e-Barat.  He wrote  poems  about  various aspects  of human  life.
