Abstract

"Farhang-e-Asfia" compiled by Syed Ahmed Dehlvi and Noor-ul-Lughat which is compiled by Molvi Noor-ul-Hassan are considered the major dictionaries of their times. Even today these dictionaries are considered authentic. In these dictionaries there are certain common words which differ in their pronunciation, dictation, meaning and way of representation.
