Abstract

Dr. Muhammad Sadiq is a well-known writer. He got first Ph.D. degree in Urdu Literature from Punjab University in 1939. He  did  eminent  work  in  Urdu  Literature  by  writing a book on "A History of Urdu Literature" and got international   fame.   Dr.   Sadiq   was   a   educationist and  teacher.  He edited several books both in English and Urdu.  These rare books describe Dr.  Sadiq's point of view about Literature and Language.

This article explores the hidden dimension of Dr. Sadiq's work as a Murattib (text editor).  The brief  introduction of these valuable books is remarkable.
