Abstract

Post colonical study is concerned with issues which are needed to be discussed, and emphasises the fact that we can only investigate the issues of the present by dealing with them from the critical standpoint of the past. It is a known fact that the people of post colonial societies are still subject in one way or another to overt or subtle forms of new­colonical domination, and independence has not changed this problem, which testify to the fact that post colonialism is a continuing process of resistance and reconstruction. Post colonial study of Urdu literature involves discussion about experience of various kinds, and responses to the master discourses of imperial Europe. None of these is essentially post colonial, but together they form the complex fabric of the field. And this study examines the circumfrence of post colonial studies.
