Abstract

Analytical study of style has gained much importance in this era when it comes to style in Qurat-ul-Ain Haider's "A River of Flames".  We see the practical and technical side of art in her literary style. By reading this novel, we come to know of her unique expressions and language, which has become her mark of identity . In her style she choose her words and the content of the sentences is enough to engross the reader. A good style entices the person in itself. That is the reason her novel has preference in language and style. Her style deviates, changing in time phases of the novel. Through this novel she explains history in a very creative way. In short "A River of Flames" has uniqueness of its own due to being a compound of different styles.
