Abstract

Iqbal's philosophy  throws light  on  the  literal and  technical meaning  of Ijtihad and Allama  Iqbal  has discussed it in detail after defining  the  types  of Ijtihad and  he  also  presented the  maintain levels of Ijtihad.

After the fall of Bughdad,  restriction made in the way of Ijtihad for Fiqh are also discussed and at the end, the importance and need of Ijtihad is evaluated  in the  prospects of Iqbal's philosophy  and explained  that  how it can be applied.  After evaluating  the research paper  in writing  form,  foot notes and  bibliography have also been
