Abstract

Fani  Badayuni   is a  famous  Urdu poet.His  Ghazals  are very popular among  the readers and  critics.He  is supposed  to be a poet of pain  and  pining  like Meer  .His Rubaayaat are  also remarkable for  precision  of expression  and  spontaneity of tone.This  article  is about  the different  aspects of Fani's  Rubaayaat.He presented social injustice,class  differences,conflict of life and transience world in his Rubayaat with  great poetic vision.He considered "sorrow" as a great  power  and  a  blessing  which  is a  real  secret  of survival.His Rubaayaat reflect  his thoughts  regarding life,society and  the truth

of death.These Rubaayaat are great assets of urdu  poetry.
