Abstract

This article deals with the oral tales of Chistia order of Sial sharif school of thought.  Hazrat Khawja   Shams ud Din Sialvi   is the pioneer of Khanqah   in Sial sharif. Thousands  of people embraced  Bei ‘at at his exalted hands. His sayings were recorded  by his spiritual  disciple Sayyed Mummad  Saeed Zanjani  in Mirat ul Aarfeen. In  the present article, the researcher introduces and analyses  the Malfuzati  Adab (holy sayings), which were written in Sial Sharif and its successive Khangahs. In first two decades of the Twentith century this sacred   literature was written in Persian language but with the passage of time, the sayings of sufis were started to be written in Urdu. Those collections  of sayings , which were written in Persian originally,  were translated into Urdu as well. In the present study,  the researcher,  discusses  all the versions of Malfuzati literature.
